1995
|
We developed
high-brightness AlGaAs red LED that increased the value
of LED.
We developed PD and combined it with IRED. The combination
of these two has expanded the number of infrared applications.

1996
|
We developed high-power, high
speed IRED. Development of this product marked our entry
into the telecommunications market.
We developed and manufactured opto-transistors. We also
combined opto-transistor with traditional IRED. The combination
of these two products marked our entry into the mouse
and opto-coupler market. |

1997
|
We developed
the InGaAlP compound and produced the highly competitive
orange and yellow high-brightness LEDs.
We established a 5-inch silicon wafer plant that has reduced
the cost of our silicon devices and made our products

1998
|
We developed high-brightness
AlInGaP red, yellow green LED to establish a whole quarternary
series products.
We developed a lot of different function's photo-transistors
and photo-diodes to meet and expand market applications. |

1999
|
We developed
GaInN high-brightness blue LED to establish the full color
(RGB) producing capability.
Base on the wireless communication's application, we developed
high-power, high-speed IR LED, high-speed PD and control
IC to meet the IrDA market and best service to our customers. |

2001
|
After finished the Chunan
Branch fab's expand. We increase the production quantity
of Photo- transistor and Photo-diode, then starts the
fiber opto-communication device research. |

2002
|
TYNTEK signs
the contract with E-wintek Corp. to develop the GPRS/GPS
wireless product, and set up the division to do the EMS
(electrical machine service) business. |
